I would like to ask him what is the best way to approach SEO, is it trying to optimize an entire site all at once or to concentrate on optimizing specific pages tied to relevant keywords for that page/niche individually (and thus raising the entire site up in rankings "one page at a time".

No pagerank for domain....
Why do I get no pagerank for my domain but my deeper pages are all 3s and 4s.
I use wordpress and do not have a static homepage. I use my Wordpress start page as my index.
I used to be a 4 for years and suddenly the domain stopped returning any page rank at all.
Is it because the page is always changing as my blog indexes new posts?
What can I do to improve this situation? I was thinking of adding static text optimized to my
keywords at the very top of the page and only show it on the page when you are at my domain
with no query string.
No blackhat tactics, just good basic seo, I wrote my wordpress theme.
I have 100 links that count and 355 all told including forums and spam scrapper sites that I have nothing to do with.

Unique Articles Submission
I want to know if submitting unique articles to multiple article directories is a method that is more preferred over submitting same article to multiple article directories.
I would like to know if subitting unique articles to multiple article directories will benefit me more and how it will benefit me.
Will each backlink be more valuable under Page Rank premise?
Will my listing of each article in article directories not appear in Google Supplmental Index?
And finally is it worth my time to submit only unique articles to multiple article directories?

How do you structure a site for best ranking results?
Is there anything you do which is particularly effective with one of the search engines?

I know that your focus is mostly PPC for landing pages and this is new to me and I hope to get some stuff going in this area. But I have a site that is 8 years old that is one of the top sites in it's niche in google that I was making a very good living on until last year. I know there are a lot of "games" with social networking on other sites to bring traffic back into a site.
I am interested in finding social networking software to put on a directory of my site and am not finding that anyone has done a complete analysis of this market that is recent (2008) for "white label" software for a small business that is 1. affordable 2. easy for a non-programmer to implement (Dolphin and others look like they need programmers) 3. Has 1-800 support in the US where they answer the phone 4. 30 day money back guarantee 5. Allows you to put your own advertsing on the site without paying monthly fees 6. Proven sites where it has helped with SEO (PHP Fox and WebScribble are the only one's that appear to have support. One doesn't answer their phone, the other does sometimes)
I would also like to have Aaron's opinion on how adding social networking software to an existing site (either on a directory or on the main domain) has an affect on the search engines. Will this raise a flag with Google, Yahoo and MSN and be considered spammy or will it be considered "quality content". I want to make sure that adding social networking to my site won't destroy the site in the search engines.

Does google collect data how often a link gets clicked?
What has more value?
1000 links in bookmarking sites, which results in 1 click.
1 link in a related niche, which results in 1000 clicks.
Background: It is very easy to bookmark my site in the various social bookmarking sites. There are also automated tools, that can do that.
The question is: Does google measure how often a link gets clicked? And if so, does an often clicked link has more value?
Value of video Content
If you have videos on your site, does google give a value on that?
