I use Xsp as well. It is great for people (like me) who start with no design skills. I'm considering taking a two week, Dreamweaver weekend course at a community college, but i'm holding off in hopes that the upgrade will address many of the limitations.

Just recently bought xSitePro and am wondering where to get some good templates. It seems many of the templates I'm seeing look pretty lame. Are there good, professional-looking templates out there?

I bought the software about a month ago and am now upgrading to Version 2. If I can't get a great-looking, already-built template I'll probably have to have one custom made. It's just so disheartening to read about professional-looking templates, then when I check them out they just look...amateurish. I'm just hoping I didn't make a mistake buying the software, especially since Wordpress seems to be a viable option for making websites.

XSitePro Ver 2 Templates are light years ahead of the ver 1 templates. So hopefully you have not looked at ver 2 yet?? If you still are not impressed with the ver 2 templates, then there are plenty of XSitePro template makers out there.

Hi there,
I have been looking at purchasing V2. Does anyone know if they really will be raising the price? They claim that the current price, $197, will be increased to $297 soon.
I have build a fair sized library of free tools. I found a site dedicated to Open Source Web Development. Perhaps you can find something here, http://www.oswd.org/ or you may be able to find a designer to build you a custom one.
In regards to purchasing this software. Anyone know where the best place to buy it is? I know some affiliates will offer "bonus's" or discounts for using their link. Alternatively, would it be ethical to do a link exchange? ie, I buy from someones link, they get the commission, someone buys from mine, I get the commission, and so one. A handful of folks each contributing their link, and committing to purchase through someone else's would ensure we get the software (at the end of the day) for significantly less. I doubt this freebie is as good as XsitePro but, Nuvu produces a free HTML editor that is quite good, http://nvudev.com/download.php it is free.
Anybody use XSitePro?
I think it's a pretty good tool. It's less expensive than Dreamweaver and offers more specialized functionality for Internet Marketers.
I'm married to Dreamweaver because I'm just too comfortable with it. If I were starting over, I would definitely consider XSitePro.
Best,
Jeremy
Thanks for the reply
XSite works good for me because I not a programmer.
Maybe someday can move up to something like dreamweaver

XSitePro is very nice
I've been a web designer for about 10 yrs now.
I love XSitePro!
I never had used it before the recent upgrade to 2.0. It is so very robust and intuitive.
I use both this and Site Build It. Between the two, I've been in designer's heaven! =]
