Tracking CJ merchant conversions with Yahoo Marketing Soluti

OK I get to the point where I should paste the given HTML code from YMS Analytics settings on the site's conversion pages.

But obviously, working with CJ merchants, this can't be done without their help.

My question is - what is the best way to track conversion when using YSM? Are CJ merchants willing to insert the code on the conversion pages?

Jeremy, you have been very responsive and I greatly appreciate it.

Just one question if you don't mind, do I still need to contact the CJ merchant to insert the YSM tracking code in order for this method to work? Or can I use this alone to track YSM-CJ conversion?

Thank you.

You can try and contact the merchant about it (never hurts to ask), but I don't think they'll accommodate your request. If they do it for one affiliate, they would have to start offering to more affiliates. Before too long they would have a sales page with 100 tracking pixels on it ;)

You are right Jeremy. I asked because one of the smaller affiliate networks that I am a member with allows me to add third party tracking on the sales page so I thought may be CJ has came up with something to accomodate this.

Thanks for the tips I think it'll work well. However, I finally got around reviewing a tool that will do this automatically- been meaning to do that but I was a bit busy.

Well, it's none other than your own Optimize My Site tool offered via PPC Classroom. I can't believe it can do so much. I watched the video and was amazed by its capability. I also love watching you using real life examples of one of your successful campaigs.
