Yahoo has changed their platform immensely. Quality Score is going to wreak havoc with a lot of users. I can promise that a LOT of people will lose profitable campaigns because of this if they didn't prepare for it.

The coming weeks should be very interesting, to say the least.

Based on everything I've read, it sounds like Yahoo is looking for keyword / ad text relevancy, but I haven't heard them say too much about having to have lots of landing page copy. Is this something they’re not mentioning, or are they really more concerned with keywords and ad text?

I always make sure my keywords are in small, relevant ad groups with relevant ad copy and landing page copy, but I’ve always struggled with Google’s need for copy just for the sake of copy.

Also, Yahoo said in one posting I read on their website, that the bid price could be based on what they think the value is. Doesn't this mean that even if you have the best quality score in the world, Yahoo is still going to charge you what they want to charge you?

I think Yahoo! is giving themselves some room to charge what they want for clicks a la Google. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few weeks. So far I'm in good shape, but I'm not holding my breath.
