New Site: All Pages Indexed, Home page not...

Hi,

About a month ago, I launched a new site, clean code, sitemap.xml (coply with Google), no Java, no robots.txt restrictions that related to my index.php page, can't see any "bad" links or so...

Anyway, in a bout 10 days all my pages were indexed OK, but up until now my hompage index.php was never indexed...I even used my homepage as template to create the other pages..

Any idea why this could happen? Did anyone else have the same problem?

It's unusual for a home page to be de-indexed. Do you use webmaster tools on Google? You can do a site autopsy to diagnose the problem.

Hi Jeremy,

Yes, I use Google's Webmaster tools, it indicates no problem, the only "problem" it indicates is about 10 urls of OMS I specifically asked not to index by updating my robot.txt file accordingly.

Tested my robots.txt with these Webmaster Tools and again, no problem there with my homepage...

Any idea?

I have no idea what could be causing such a problem - it's very unusual. Most people complain about subpages not being indexed, not their home page. I may suggest some kind of penalty, but that doesn't seem likely considering your other pages are indexed.

Is there anything here that may help you troubleshoot?

What can I tell you...went over these points but couldn't find one that points a problem with my homepage..I guess Google's webmaster tools should have told me of such a problem..

Is there a chance you can give my homepage a quick look and spot for something that you may see but I don't...?
