How To Embed An Affiliate Link To A Merchant's Article (Not Product) On Their Site

Hello:

I have a merchant that has some very informative articles on their site that I would like to provide links to. I want to embed my affiliate ID in those links incase the user decides to use the merchant's services. Can I do that?

Would I have to use a normal product affiliate link and some sort of redirect to get my affiliate ID on their system?

Of course you can. The best way would be to find a link that sent the user directly to the article. Ask the merchant for a link if one doesn't already exist.

I have "links" to the articles, but how do I embed my affiliate ID into them? I'd rather not deal with the merchant (if possible) as they're a large company that takes too long to respond.

Well, I've found that emailing these guys directly, rather than through the network seems to provide faster responses from affiliate managers. Lets see what I get...
