Where to Find Landing Page Designers?

Submitted by 57cherokee on Sat, 04/26/2008 - 06:20.
Every dime that I've earned, over the past several years, has been as a result of information that I've transferred, from similar skills, or from reference books. I am new to affiliate marketing, and I VERY much want to succeed. Any suggestions that you can give on landing pages would be greatly appreciated.

99designs.com - I've used it
99designs.com - I've used it with a lot of success.
99designs.com question
I've looked at 99designs.com and it seems it's aimed primarily at those who want the 'look and feel' of a site created rather than the php, sql etc stuff. Is that correct or am I missing something here? The designer whose work I like has php skills but none of the design briefs I've read mention any server side coding.
Finding somebody who can
Finding somebody who can design + code is very difficult. I can count on one hand how many people in my address book can do both well.
If you want a dynamic page with customization look at the Black Ink schedule. We dedicate a whole day to it. There will also be some scripts/snippets for you to use.

It's true, finding someone who is both left and right brained (center brained?!) is hard. You just have to look at some of the really good coders web site's to realize they have zero design skills.
I remember once talking with an ASP coder and a C++ coder about a web site they were working on. Their attitudes were the design of the site is irrelevant, it should be just functional.
Back to Plan A then, hire two extremely talented individuals instead of the elusive center brained genius!
Yahoo Sitebuilder
Haven't tried the site Jeremy mentioned above but have heard good things about it and know he's had tons of success with them.
If you are looking to go the cheap/free route first...
You can create a landing page for free using Yahoo's Geocities.com online pagebuilder until you like the look and feel and then upgrade to your own domain with no ads...
Yahoo also has a sitebuilder with more flexibility (work offline, etc.) and templates you can use. Hosting is fairly inexpensive.
Note:
If you are trying to achieve good SEO results, pagebuilders that use javascript may not be the best option, but for beginners looking to create a fast PPC campaign landing page - you could have one up and going in no time at all.
Thank You for the help
My younger brother is the one who suggested that I try Affiliate Marketing, but trying to get him to give up information is like trying to discover the origins of Stonehenge. He tells me that he's doing well, but not much else. I'm not interested in trying to invade his niche. Just get a few pointers. I'm really enjoying the webinar. Thank you again.
I've been looking to
I've been looking to outsource landing page design as well... I created this list from looking at the services section at the Digitalpoint Forums... (They're all non-aff links by the way)
I've only used need-an-article.net... very good quality articles... I recommend them..
As far as Landing Page designers go, I'm not sure who to go with... I think I'll probably test out different ones when I start outsourcing...
