I bought a copy years ago and, at the time, much preferred it to Webposition Gold. I haven't used it much though as I ran ppc campaigns, so it didn't matter how well the site ranked in the organic listings, but it's a very feature packed product with great support. Also, take a look at SEOElite, I've heard good things about this software also.
Brad Callen founder of SEO Elite - does have a good free email e-course on SEO.
Not a real personable friendly fellow though. He lives like 20 minutes from me and I've tried to say hello on various social platforms with no response. I'm quite hesitant to buy products from people who use support desks and don't communicate directly through email, etc.
Another reason why I truly appreciate Jeremy and his transparency - that's what makes him stand out from the crowd.
There are also some youtube videos about seo elite you might watch before you buy the product. (be on guard of course - some of those videos will be hyped up affiliate offers.)
I think I will hold off buying either of these products until I at least finish Jeremy's BIP course. I may not need them after the course is over anyhow. At least that is what I am aiming for ;)

It can be helpful for gathering intelligence, but any software that automates canned e-mail suggestions etc. is a waste of money.
