I'm Judith from the Seattle, WA area

I'm Judith Stephens. I’m a full-time Internet marketer with over 5 years experience in online sales and marketing.

I’m a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When my son started elementary school, I started college at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Five years later, I earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago.

I spent 10 years working in corporate America. My last job was as Director of Technical & Administrative Services, Science & Technology Labs for a major manufacturing company. After those plush employee days, I began to learn the real challenges of meeting a payroll — my own.

I’m a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in developing over 30 companies. I work with emerging businesses' boards of directors on strategic and operations planning. I’ve maintained a home office for the past two decades. I’m a life-long student of things fun, complex, and collaborative. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, WA. It’s very beautiful here.

I really want to become a great Affiliate Marketer. I'm so pleased to be part of the Black Ink Project. Thank you Jeremy for starting this great learning community.

I am a fellow Pacific Northwest dweller!

I truly believe that Affiliate Marketing is one of the few businesses that has the potential of unlimited scalability that can be started with very little and run by an organization of one!

I think your experience will be an incredible asset in building your affiliate business. Experience that will be a help to us here as well! I look forward to your contributions to the forum as we start out and continue on our journey together through the Black Ink Project.

I'm totally with Jack on the "scalability". I really can't think of another business where you could continue to expand your income without hiring more employees, getting more office space, working longer hours, etc. I can clearly remember days when I was so excited that I had grossed $100, and now I have days where I gross $1000 without doing any more work than tweaking some campaign settings and throwing more money at it :)

I recently figured out that if you charge your Yahoo Search Marketing on your American Express card, you get a 5% rebate. Once you're spending a few thousand a month that's a nice chunk of change to get back. -H
