Opinions of forum members whether it is worth it to join Blog Classroom??

tealcool's picture

Hi, I wanted to see if any of the forum members have been a part of BlogClassroom.com or are joining this and if this is just another "guru" scam. It's $500.00. Much of the stuff presented was "basic" so I am not sure how advanced they really get. And has anyone dealt with this company on a return if you join and don't find it is hwat you need (they claim a 60 day money back guarantee)

Before you spend $500, spend

Before you spend $500, spend a day or two and let Google be your friend :)

Having said that, I didn't read the long winded sales page (because I hate long winded sales pages) so this course might be worth every penny but I know I won't be buying it.

I Did PPC Classroom With Them..

Rosalind and Anik are pretty good. If they promise the money back, then I'm sure they'll deliver. I'd work through this program first....

I Third Derrick's Advice

Wow, I wonder whom Anik will pimp - erh - team up with next! The info. will most likely be good, but $500 bucks is a lot of money!

I bet he will also let you join a forum for $50/month also.(just a guess)

I was also a member of PPCC, and although the info. was top shelf, it was created by Jeremy Palmer. While there is nothing wrong with that, I'm sure Derrick and other PPCC'ers will agree that once Jeremy faded out of the picture, the quality slowly faded also.

If you really think about it, a blog(if designed properly) is just a website that accepts comments. And don't be lured by the fact that blogs get "Indexed" quickly. While this can be true, they can be indexed quickly - and on the last page of Google, unless you are proficient at SEO.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Anik team up with someone like Aron Wall, or Brad Callen and start SEO Classroom -lol.

The way Anik operates is that as it gets closer to the day you must decide "should I get my money back" he will come up with several "once in a life time" reasons , that he is working on, that won't be available till JUST AFTER YOUR REFUND PERIOD ENDS AND HE KEEPS YOUR CASH.

That being said, just keep a close eye on your refund period and you should have no worries should you decide to get your money back as long as you are within their time lines.

I personally am going to soak up all this FREE BIP info I can.

Good Luck

Barry

I agree with almost all of

kuproverto's picture

I agree with almost all of what Barry G said. I joined PPCC for two reasons; Jeremy's business information and Jeremy's OMS tool. To me this was easily worth the $500 fee. Once he became less involved, I remained a member for a couple of months to give it a chance to prove itself worthy of my $50 per month payment. It didn't so I canceled.

I have nothing against Anik personally, I don't know him but I was initially put off by the long winded sales letter page he used to sell PPCC and I don't appreciate being spammed by his continual offers.

I appreciate the passion and

I appreciate the passion and drive I've seen in Anik... the long winded sales letters and continual offers is a model "preached" by some online gurus who say that it takes up to 7 times for an offer to convert (redundant autoresponder sequences).

I think that model may work better for those who are not swimming in the same pond of internet marketing.

It is indeed preached by

It is indeed preached by some online gurus and I have no doubt it works very well and converts a lot of potential buyers into actual buyers. When reading them I feel like I'm being sold to, which of course I am, and I don't like that.

Just in case Blog Classroom

Just in case Blog Classroom turns out like PPC Classroom did, I'd probably wait and see if Ms. Gardner also does a "free version" like Jeremy is doing here, LOL!

Blog mastermind by Yaro Starak

dupatta's picture

I did about 3 months or so of Yaro Starak's blog mastermind
course which lasted about 6 months at $70 per month
which was not bad because Yaro walks his walk with his own blog making
upwards of $10,000 per month. So $500 for a blog course
from someone who does not have the Authority like a " Yaro Starak"
or a "Darren Rowse" would not seem worth it.

I was in Anik's Affiliate Classroom for a couple of months
but there was nothing compelling there even at $30 per
month. The case studies and interviews were outdated and there
were hardly any success stories posted by the members.

What you have to understand is that the Make Money niche is
growing by leaps and bounds as regular folks full of frustration
at their paycheck to paycheck life whether due to the economy
or gas prices or whatever begin trolling the web for options.

There is nothing wrong with an instructor making money as
long as they have walked the walk and can deliver even 80% of
what they promise as far as course materials go.

It is very difficult to find third party opinions on
the gurus because every review tied to an affiliate link
is biased at best. It took me forever to find this link
below to a warrior forum thread that talks about
Ed Dales' and Dan Raine's Immediate Edge Program.
You'll need to have logged in to the warrior forum to see
the thread.

http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=164635&SearchTerms=...

So anyway, you get the picture.
Ed Dale has been associated with Stompernet Simple
which started out great, but once they started
charging the $100 per month, they essentially stopped
producing the materials in a timely manner and we were
waiting months for course materials to be uploaded with
no further input from Ed.

So tread carefully when you decide to plunk down your
hard earned money and only get Guru incompetence. Sure,
go for the 30 day trial, but if it wreaks even a smidgen of
"make moneyness at your expense" move quickly in the other direction.

Get Free Info First

I would definitely educate yourself with free information first then make a decision where to spend your money. Darren Rowse of Problogger.net is an excellent resource on blogging and their are many others.
