Complete QYDJ Feed

Submitted by Jeremy Palmer on Sat, 05/03/2008 - 22:27.
For those of you interested in staying updated on all things QYDJ... I've created a master feed that contains all new comments, forum topics, blog posts, etc.
You can subscribe with your favorite RSS reader here:
http://www.quityourdayjob.com/crss
If you prefer to subscribe to a specific topic or thread, look for the RSS button (orange square) at the bottom of the page. This is particularly helpful if you want to see when someone answers your question.
If you're only interested in subscribing to the blog go here:

Best,
Jeremy
P.S. All credit goes to Jason Woods (Moderator) for coming up with the idea.

Yea!
Excelent!
Exactly what we needed Jeremy, thanks!
And thanks to Jason as well!
I know you were going to try to add a new posts feed,
and then you end up with an all inclusive feed.
So, did you write this by hand?
How hard is it to add a feed to a site?
(harder if it's not a cms script already I'm sure)
Thanks again!
Brad.
Brad, As you might already
Brad,
As you might already know, Quit Your Day Job is built on the Drupal platform which is excellent for community based sites. The new comments feed is just a plug-in for Drupal. If you are interested in building a community based site I recommend you check Drupal out and look at the comments rss plug-in.

Also, my hat goes off to Jeremy for building this site and sharing his knowledge and experience to the community.
Cheers,
Jason Woods

Jason's the one who came up
Jason's the one who came up with the idea of using the Comments RSS module. Drupal is a sweet platform for community sites, but it can be a little tough to customize. It's pretty easy to use the basic functionality out of the box, but making the site look like your own will take a bit of work. I'm hoping that one day I'll have the time to write some good Drupal tutorials. I found some good articles, but there's definitely a strong need for more.
Nice Job Jason
Very cool ..
I am subscribing now ..
I have a community website based on wordpress - which is easy but forum integration is looking difficult ..
I checked out drupal a year ago - version 4 or 5 - and even though my background is programming it wasn't easy .. but Its seems to be working great for this web ?
Maybe its a little easier now ?
Drupal 5 and 6 are 10x
Drupal 5 and 6 are 10x better than 4. It's easy to implement, but can be difficult to get it to look the way you want.
Another benefit is the contributed modules. There are so many great minds working on the project that you can find modules for just about anything imaginable.

I just joined and I wanted to say thank you to all especially Jeremy & Jason. Affiliate marketing is new to me, but with the data I have found on this site I feel that I have a start.
Thanks,
