The question may have already been answered so happy to be re-directed.
Is it possible and should it be done, a way in which you create a landing page to capture information on your landing page, though in the background the info is being submitted to business that you are promoting?
Maybe this will be answered in the BIP..
Cheers all

There are three ways to
There are three ways to accomplish this:
1 - Use a merchant application programming interface (API) to collect and submit the lead. For this to work the merchant has to offer an API, and the affiliate would require some technical knowledge/experience to use it.
2 - Write a custom script to collect the lead info and submit it on the merchants site (there may be some scripts on the market that do this for you). Unless you're a coder I recommend looking for a script that handles this for you. You might even consider paying a programmer on Odesk or eLance to do it for you. A script with this functionality wouldn't cost too much to develop (if the merchants lead form is straightforward).
3 - Manually submit the data on the merchants site after you collect it. Note that this method will slow you down and has more security implications that need to be considered.

By doing this, do you need any permission from the customer? Or is there any privacy concerns issues?

Do you use a secure site
If you collect information about the customer, do you make your site secure.
I don't collect any
I don't collect any sensitive data, so there really isn't a need for SSL. If I were collecting more than a name and e-mail address I would.
