Landing Page Construction. Step By Step

Hi Jeremy,

I've seen some of your landing pages and they are masterful.

I truly believe your success is due greatly to these professional looking creations. They instill confidence in the potential customer and lead to less click aways and toward more click throughs.

In a previous communique I asked you how you assembled them.

Your response was, the utilization of Templatemonster.com or designers at Azoogle (designers I can't afford right now).

But, no more than that.

There must be more...

There has to be some sort of assembly process you go through when constructing. I'm aware of the heat maps.

What goes into the landing page template selection process?

How do you decide which section of the template to use, and where?

Templatemonster. com is vast.

How do you go about searching Templatemonster to quickly find the appropriate template?

In short, are you going to teach a step by step process of producing a Jeremy Palmer style professional look and feel money pumping landing page?

Not just what should go on the page, but, also where on the page and what it should look like.

This is what I'm hoping for.

Yes, yes I know there are many factors that lead to PPC success.

However...

You both are kinda asking what's the secret sauce in your success. A niche like dating is one thing where lots of people are engaged already. It's the ad copy and landing page that capture someone and give them that warm feeling that they've chose something special.

Asking for that magic is a delicate matter. I'm sure we'll all see some examples that work well and we can then come up with out own and test to get optimal results.

Landing pages with hybrid site

I get the idea of making landing pages by themselves I think, but what I don’t totally understand is what I guess in the industry it’s called a hybrid site. Here is my understanding so far. Please anyone let me know if this is a good concept from the info I have gathered so far about a hybrid affiliate site.

I want to do a review site with content to review some specific products. So this means a

Main index page (overview of products reviewed and clearly showing one better than the rest.)
Product review 1 page (affiliate links outbound)
Product review 2 page (affiliate links outbound)
Product review 3 page (affiliate links outbound)
Product review 4 page (affiliate links outbound)
Product review 5 page etc

25+ articles pages ( all articles will be for content for the search engines not the reader per se, articles that I will write about the niche will have a very small link at the bottom of the home page for the search engines and all articles will feed PR to my main page via keyword rich links. I really don’t want my readers getting distracted from converting so I am limiting the visibility to the articles by only one like that the search engines will find etc.)

Landing page 1 keyword one (basically my main page tweaked for the keyword title phase)
Landing page 2 keyword two
Landing page 3 keyword three
(No inbound links from any page will go to my landing page, but all PPC traffic will be sent to my landing page (s))

Etc.

So this is a basic template of how i want to set up my site. Search engines feeding me organic traffic (in time) and my ppc campaigns going to the landing pages. Is this what they mean by saying hybrid site and does anyone have any ideas or comments about this strategy? thx

I know enough about my abilities to know that I will initially have to pay, in order to set up shop. But, I am also in the beginnig stages of learning wordpress, and in addition to the free web pages that they offer you can go to www.oswd.org/designs/browse to see a number of different FREE pages. You can also go to www.openwebdesign.org or www.opendesigns.org/ These sites also have a number of freebies that were created by people who are much more talented than I, at this time. I'll continue trying to learn, which makes life more interesting.
