How will you Pay it Forward?

As The Black Ink Project gets started...

Most of you have probably seen the movie Pay it forward (http://youtube.com/watch?v=JvbgetKzrmA), if you have not I encourage you to check it out - awesome movie.

Along my journey through affiliate marketing I've found many get-rich-quick gurus who out of greed - refuse to share any of the wisdom they've gained unless it is a teaser only to entice you to purchase something from them.

Jeremy has truly blessed us with The Black Ink Project and is generously paying forward without asking a dime.

Many lives will be changed I'm sure. It would be awesome if those who gain anything from the BIP took a little time to consider how they can pay forward the blessing of wisdom they have received.

If you are not involved with a program like Big Brothers / Big Sisters or presently mentoring any youth - you may want to consider doing so. There are several young souls who have been raised in messed up backgrounds - some raised by parents who are drug addicts and all they have known their whole life is poverty, drugs, and violence.

You could be the one to pay it forward and show them another way to earn a comfortable income rather than the dangerous life of selling drugs. You could potentially change generations to come [butterfly effect] by mentoring just one young person - something neither moth nor rust can destroy.

I'm sure you could think of a dozen other ways to pay it forward.

The BIG GIVE.

I was inspired by The BIG GIVE as were thousands.

I am currently working on developing the Utah Hope Alliance. It's in the Mission Planning stage, but ultimately it will become a place were individuals can expand there knowledge and hopefully improve their lives.

Will keep you posted.

Set up an orphanage

pothick's picture

I came from a third world country where the going is really tough specially for the orphans. I always wanted to setup an orphanage where the orphans can live free and get a good education. Its impossible to do with my current financial situation. I hope that the things I learn from BI will help me generate additional money so that I can full fill this life long dream of mine.
Wish me luck.

That is an incredible dream

That is an incredible dream and goal and definitely wish you the best of luck. You may also be able to find government grants to help you out with that dream.

Community Garden

darrengill's picture

One thing we are attempting this year as we are just getting started out here is to create a garden to grow fresh produce for the individuals in our community who can not afford to buy it themselves. It is a small jester but something we are hoping to be able to expand upon. BIP to me is like you said Ryan is not just a learning opportunity for ourselves but an opportunity to make a difference in others lives with our success.

I have learned over the last few years in past jobs and volunteer organizations sometimes even the simpliest gesture leads to great changes in peoples lives.

I can think of one individual four years ago when I moved to this community he was the 'bad apple', 'bad home' 'wrong crowd' one of the worst cases of youth at risk I have ever seen. The company I worked for allowed me to take him in on an internship, though he was not nearly as qualified as others. In my mind what he would gain from it would be much more then other applicants who were being recommended solely on the 'Who you know' factor. and trained him on the computers that we had as he had none of his own. He was with us for two summers and the progress was fantastic. Dont get me wrong there were days when 'Problems' arose but we worked through them, he eventualy moved away and we lost what I thought was a valuable asset. I ran into him a few months ago and he is now in his fourth year of computer sciences in university graduating with honors.

I think personaly what people tend to forget sometimes is someone opened a door for them once whether it was fresh out of school and getting that first job or a simple introduction to someone who was able to mentor them. Just as Jeremy is doing with the BIP for each and everyone of us lucky enough to get involved.

That's awesome Darren - thank you for sharing that. It gave me goosebumps! That's exactly what I'm talking about. You intervened in that young man's destiny and you will never know what could of happened.

Just another day for me here but - I have a case right now before me and hand to God this is what the report says:

"Mother has 20 prior arrests and 9 convictions... also has an open warrant for her arrest for Battery...Step-Father has 16 prior arrests and 4 convictions....Uncle has 14 prior arrests and 4 convictions..."

Would it surprise you that this boy is currently in the department of correction at age 17?

Needless to say - there are a ton of opportunities out there for us to pay it forward!

Entrepreneurship and

Entrepreneurship and capitalism have been some of the greatest blessings in my life. I hope that through QYDJ/BIP and other education endeavors I can show others how to reap the rewards of these systems.

It seems like the more I share, the more I get back. It doesn't necessarily come back in the form of dollars and cents, but through good karma, new opportunities, and a feeling of personal fulfillment.

Creating opportunities

Dezchamps's picture

Where I come from, as with many other countries, opportunities are limited. People leave school with a degree and get no jobs. Many of my friends are in a state of depression now because of this.

I remember being at a graduation, watching over 1000 students graduating and thinking, "Wow, I wonder how many of them will gets jobs to pay back their student loans"

I already started paying it forward, I introduced 4 friends to BIP. This whole Internet platform is new to them but I am spending the time to get them up to speed. I know we four will triple the number of people we will help to open their eyes to a whole new world of income possibilities.

So many troubled youths out there just need an alternative. We can all play our part.

I believe in teaching a man to fish. Jeremy is doing the same for all of us.
