Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say hello from England!
My husband and I signed up to do the BIP together - we're both at a bit of a crossroads in terms of our day jobs - through mergers and acquisitions mine has turned from what was a dream opportunity working 5 minutes drive away - to a living nightmare with an hour and a half commute. Time for me to quit!
We're complete beginners when it comes to affiliate marketing so we're here to learn and learn fast.
I was on a training course recently and we were told that if you want something to happen the most important step is telling someone what you want. By making it public you are making a commitment to getting what you want and the more likely you are to succeed. So here goes:
"I would like to "quit my day job" in January 2010, when our daughter starts school - and I would like to be able to work from home so I can walk her to and from school every day"
That gives me 20 months so you'll probably be seeing a lot more of me around here.

While new to this forum myself , I have been following Jeremy's work for quite some time.
Jeremy and BIP is the real deal!
Don't get side tracked with all the e-mails from the plethora of IM guru's out there! Don't do as I did and jump around in your quest for IM knowledge, you will just become overwhelmed, and in the end, still not really know which path to take (at least that's what happened to me).
Have you already read the free e-book and watched the videos? If not, just click on the LEARNING tab at the top of this page and you will have a great head start and get much more from the BIP.
Don't feel you have to learn everything all at once, that's what I love about this project. Learn, understand what you have learned (by asking questions in this forum), take action when appropriate. Baby steps.
One of the biggest mistakes I've made was skipping over the things I didn't understand till later. In my case, later never came...until now! Rock on BIP!!

I think it is way cool that you signed up together. I have found working almost exclusively alone for 4 years. That having someone to bounce ideas and problems around with is alot more productive and effecient way to learn. So good luck and hope your drive can become a learning tool for you and a way for you to not think about how long it is but listen to mp3 about affiliate marketing. Learn for 90 minutes every day, or think about all that you have learned, and or all the possitive things in your life. They have done extensive studies that if you focus for at least 17 seconds on one thing it is more likely to happen. So what if you did that for 90 minutes wow you will be way ahead of the curve. The fact you are across the ocean from the founder of this forum and even have knowledge of affiliate marketing and this unique forum - probably puts you about 2 - 5 years ahead already in the learning curve compared to outsiders who are not even aware of the income opportunity.
