Good info to review

I downloaded & read thru that good PDF from WordTracker a couple of weeks ago. I got some good information out of it & I'm sure I could get more upon another re-read.

I did download the 7-day free trial from WordTracker, but that product (& their high pricing) did not resonate with me. The 7 days of video training WERE helpful & again, it would be good to go back & review their video content & associated notes.

After much "hemming & hawing", I finally decided to commit ($) to http://www.NicheBOT.com. I've had access to the site for about 2 weeks and am still struggling to get my head around the multiple ways to research with it. But, I DO like their approach (& their pricing). Jim Morris seems to be the "real deal" real in trying to help with niche/keywork research. He even sent a personally signed thank you letter that I received a few days after sign-up. That impressed me!

So, let's see what Jeremy's Day 2 of TBIP has in store for us...

Re: keyword tools - Just starting out with a limited budget? Save your money and use Google Keywords Tool. It's very effective and doesn't cost anything. Wordze, WordTracker, KeywordDiscovery are for keyword expansion and advanced research. I didn't buy my first subscription to a keyword tool until 2005 (I started out in 2003).

Good advice Jeremy - why pay

Good advice Jeremy - why pay when its free!! Plus it seems that you can loose focus on bouncing from one tool to the other trying to compare results

Do we have any experts in the forum that can share tips on what to look for in the bar's that are displayed.

It can be a bit off putting when you see the competitor bar 70% full, and the Search Bar 10%, or what do you make of say levels that look to be 4% competitor and 6% search..can seem a bit tricky to gauge..

I also like the Google Keywords Tool

It does a pretty good job of finding related keywords. I also like the fact that you can find the keywords your competitors are targeting. Over all a lot of info for no cost.
