I'm going to stop fooling around and get my financial house in order better than I have to this point in the near future. If anyone wants to collaborate and share information...well that's what BlackInk is about.

Msg me on here or on twitter and we'll chat.

Hey Guys,

Being an introvert, I have always done things on my own but recently started thinking it would be good to be a part of a group to share ideas or experiences. I am interested in possible collaborations or idea exchanges. Feel free to contact me anytime about anything.

One more Canadian here,

looking for to getting to know you all more and helping where I can.

Two websites I found for Canadian Business

hillbilly's picture

I have been looking into this as well, I am in BC.

I found two sites that I thought were rather informative.

http://www.e-bc.ca/pages/home.php
Is a government funded resource for small business promotion (Canada loves small business)

http://www.accessiblebookkeeping.com/tax.htm
A victoria based accounting company that has some pretty good tips.

What I am trying to figure out is wither it would be beneficial (or not) to launch a partnership rather than Sole Proprietorship. I am thinking to work with my sister. She doesn't have any money to register herself though so I was thinking to just register her with me as a partnership. Any thoughts on that?

Otherwise, for a solo show, it seems Sole Proprietor is a good place to start in Canada.
Hope that helps,

Cheers,

Jeromy

Anyone in the BIP living in Ottawa? If so, maybe we could start a "Mastermind" group a la Perry Marshall.

Could we collaborate as the "Canada Group"?

I live in Richmond, BC

I have been retired for two years from The City Of North Vancouver, Purchasing Dept, so my background is Purchasing and Contract Law. Also a Watercolor artist http://www.redbubble.com/people/tkrysak

It seemed that the guest Accountant mentioned "If you get sued" a number of times in the session, my dumb question is "why would an affiliate marketer get sued"? Is it because the US is more litigious or something, or as a result of plagerism or something?
Cheers
Terry
