Need A Great Business Plan?

isis's picture

While I have a couple of books on business plans admittedly I haven't read much through them. Maybe I will a little this weekend.

But one book I have been reading that discusses this a lot, since I got serious, is by Guy Kawasake called 'The Art of the Start'. A great compliment I think to approaching developing a plan.

His style of writing is really entertaining and while it's told mostly to the prospective of someone in relation to getting venture capital funds, it really truly applies to anything business related. It discusses niche markets, USPs, how to avoid 'pie in the sky' and find that right level of approach.

Guy Kawasaki is an Apple legend and he tells how to create a product/business/brand to keep people coming back for more. And not just about 'how to get money' he discusses bootstrapping and the best way to approach something when you don't have that luxury.

Check it out on Amazon and search inside. Great stuff.
