How do you tell what is really selling on CJ

tealcool's picture

The Network Earnings category may have a "solid bar" but does that mean it is a highly converting product? Also when you look at the 3 day and 7 day EPC, does that really translate into a highly profitable niche? Ex. Credit cards are high on the list....but you mentioned that it is a highly competitive category that is tough for an affiliate.

How do you tell what really has high conversion and high payout when looking through the list? How do you find this info on other companies similar to CJ?

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm not sure if you are asking about a Merchant or a particular product of a Merchant. I've been studying stats at CJ to see what products of a merchant is hot. I'm not sure of the data I'm looking at sometimes. CJ tells me to talk to the merchant. The merchant gives me a robotic answer to look at the data at CJ. So my question is, in CJ, is there a particular section that gives performance of particular products? For instance Sony Camera DV model xyz.

Also in the "what's hot" section of CJ is that products that sell well or the merchant is overloaded and lowers the price or whatever?

Maybe an experienced CJ affiliate will weigh in on this topic....(I hope)

On the question above about a hot item in a crowded market. I believe the prevailing wisdom is if you can find your niche/angle with that product, it doesn't matter how crowded the market is. I think Jeremy is going to prove it with his laptop campaign, not only is it already a crowded market, he's showing/telling "a lot" of people how he's going about it...

Cheers,
Gary

I don't know but, if you want to know what electronic items are popular , this is a good list:
