How Much Should you start with?

How much money should you begin a campaign with to make it worthwile? Some have said that if you start with less than $500 dollars it just won't be worth it.
I'd just like to know if you are better off starting with a small sum like $100 dollars or if you should wait and save up some money and start with about $1000.

My suggestion is you save up until you have at least $500.
While you are saving you can do some research to determine what niche you are interested in. You can also do a ton of other research on keywords, your audience and merchants at no cost to you.
Once you have found your niche, your audience and the merchants then you can start spending some money on developing your site and on your pay per click campaign.

Good luck.

You're going to spend more time than you are money in order to make money at this in the beginning. Educate yourself first about the business and it won't matter if you only have $5, $500, or $5000 to spend. The hardest thing is just to get started. All that money buys you is how quickly you get to experience the results. Without results, you won't know if something works or not. If you even spent $50 and turned a profit, you could then take what you made, recycle it into your business, and just duplicate what worked. Repeat the process over and over again and you may find that you've earned your way to $500 or $1000 as opposed to having to postpone your journey by trying to save up to it.
At the same time, you'll be the only one who knows how much you can comfortably spend. No one else knows how long it will take you to save $500, if $500 will come from a credit card, or if you'll be withdrawing that amount from your retirement. Spend money that you won't miss so much so it isn't so devastating if your initial campaigns don't pan out. I have some campaigns where I spend $500 a day and some where the same amount will last me up to six months. It just depends on what niche you're in, where you advertise, your competition, profitability, how quickly you replenish the funds, and a variety of other factors.
