Niche: Self-Help Products

Has anyone here tried to promote self-help products and if so, have they had success with them or is there too much competition in this niche?

Any suggestions on sub-categories that would come under the "self-help" banner and that are not E-Books?

Hello,

I'm sure one of the pros on here will have info but in the meantime I can tell you one angle.
You would need to drill down into that niche...and then you will still get a lot of freebie seekers so you can get them on a mailing list for more info and then expose the list to offers over time.
