Using Dreamweaver Templates

Hello Everyone:
I use Dreamweaver MX2004 and built a site as a Dreamweaver template. Great for updates. Are there any SEO issues with using the template function in Dreamweaver? I thought I heard somewhere that there was.
Thanks...Derrick.

Tough to say for sure without seeing the actual code. Anything you want to share and I can look at on page SEO stuff?

Dreamweaver templates are
Dreamweaver templates are awesome. Like Ken said - if the template code is clean there shouldn't be any SEO issues. I think Dreamweaver writes better code than any other HTML editor out there.
Thanks guys. Ken, I may
Thanks guys. Ken, I may take you up on that.
I don't know if this means anything, but my site never had a PageRank (I started it during PPC Classroom), but I noticed that the homepage is a PR2 now, while a few interior pages including my blog and main review/shopping pages are PR3's.
Is this an indication that things are looking good and indexing well with the search engines?

PR2 or 3 means that the site is indexed, Google does not have issues with it, but you still have to do quite some work on it :).

Home page is PR2 and interior pages are PR3?
I gotta see this. Usually it's the other way around. How many incoming links do you have coming in. I'm betting a low amount but stranger things have happened.

I'm telling you Ken, I am the SEO man! (LOL) ; -)
I thought it was strange too. What's the easiest way to check in-bound links?
Derrick.

I use three different
I use three different methods:
1 - Type "link:yourdomain.com" into Google (inaccurate)
2 - Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and register your site (more accurate)
3 - Use Yahoo Site Explorer (more accurate)

Using DW templates make sure that your published site is stripped of the template code. The extra code does not usually affect display but it does slow loading down. Faster load is always good.
Have site to be published placed in a new folder and save to there for FTP, and keep the template/editable site in the original folder.
Modify - templates - export without markup
Thanks. I'll try that
Thanks. I'll try that out.
