Are you starting a BLOG Site? A must read ...

Yesterday I received a book I was waiting for already some time called 'PROBLOGGER, Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income'.
The book is written by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett. Darren owns the wellknown site Problogger.net.
If you search on 'blog tips' in Google you will find either this site or Dailyblogtips.com on the first spot (with 170.000.000 results) ... talking about 'competition' :).
Anyway, I started reading this book, with my cappuccino in one hand and a pen in the other (in the sun) and have now read 1/3rd of the book. And like with Jeremy's course my reaction is one of ... WOW, what a lot of great info!!
So for the people that want to start a blog I would really recommend this book. As a real affiliate I should now put an aff link here where you could buy this book at Amazon or wherever, but as you can see I still need to learn a lot (LOL), so here is the normal Amazon link to the book and a link to the site of Darren. I would also suggest that you start reading his blog there is a LOT of information that can be found re blogging in general, tips and tricks, do's and don'ts etc etc etc

p.s. www.DailyBlogTips.com also is another great source for people that want to learn about blogging.

Has anyone experience with movable type blog platform?
I'm sure it's a great book but:
1) Like Jeremy said - "Don't buy another ebook"; focus on what we're doing here or else you likely won't get anything _done_.
2) Darren is great, but he has an extensive organization/team behind him, and hundreds of friends/colleagues to help promote his blog.
Just my 2 cents.
Totally agree Will but I got the book and the first half of it is great info for someone who hasn't blogged or not familiar with those waters. Otherwise just something to read and think about.
got twitter?

The two books I'm concentrating on are the 4 hour workweek and getting things done.
~Great books
Another great resource is Yaro Starak's website (www.entrepreneurs-journey.com) He has tons of free info on how to (gradually) turn a blog into a business using various income streams.
