Google slap on existing domains

How do I know if an existing domain name has been Google slapped. Based on yesterday's webinar, once the domain is marked it is marked for good. Does Google take into consideration there is a different owner. What if the owner sets up the domain and hides his info.

Good question. Based on my research, once the domain has been smacked it's gone for good. I believe Google does this to prevent people with two AdWords accounts from trying it again under another account.

I don't know if there's a definitive way to see if a domain has been penalized in paid search? This would be very valuable information.

I would suggest calling Google to find out - 866-2-Google. Their CSR's are generally pretty helpful with these types of questions. I'm curious to know the answer as well. If you don't find out let me know and I'll see if I can find an answer.
