Is Anybody Using Disqus?

Hello,

I decided to give Disqus a whirl on my established blog the other day and I've got to say I'm not impressed. It looks like it does a crappy job stopping spam and requires me to moderate EVERY SINGLE comment left. I say this because I had spam put on my blog by an unverified user that I had to remove.

Akismet stops everything even close to spam. I've only had to un-mark as spam a handful in almost 700 spam comments caught.

Also, their help is crappy.

Am I really missing something here? Is anybody having success with Disqus?
