Negative Keyword Match Type

I'm currently using the broad match type for most of my negative keywords in my campaigns on Google and I was wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with this. Maybe it blocks things you don't expect and keeps you from getting good traffic.

I'm not sure that Google's negative matching is as sophisticated as their regular match types (broad, phrase, exact). I don't think I've ever put negative keywords in quotes or brackets before... In fact when you add negative keyword phrases from Google Keywords Tool it never prompts you for phrase/exact matching - just defaults to broad.

Thanks for the info Jeremy. I've been adding them through the AdWords Editor and noticed they default to broad. I just waned to make sure I wasn't going to block any potential traffic by using broad.
