Discount coupon or something similar with Yahoo?

Hello,
I have a landing page set up (thanks to Jeremy's excellent video in BIP) and was thinking of getting my feet wet with Yahoo PPC. I thought there was a discount link somewhere for first time users. Maybe not, but thought I would ask here first.
Thanks,
Gary

Edit the Ad Copy?
Hello,
Thanks for the link Jeremy. In setting up my ad groups, I'm not seeing how to skip down a line for the next sentence in an ad...for example an ad looks like this..
'
'
'
'
Super Duper Shovel
Digging made easy - Five
Models - Fast Shipping
wwww.superdupershovels.com
I can't get the Five to start on the 3rd line...I've tried different keys, spaces, -
Is this the way Yahoo ad creator boxes behave? Do you have to work with the sentences where they pour on to the next line? Could it be my browser?
I played with it for quite awhile and thought I had it but this is an example of how it appears in the yahoo search engine and in the edit box..after I thought I had it fixed...
thanks,
Gary
Hi Gary, I'm not sure what
Hi Gary,
I'm not sure what the problem might be - it looks like you're under the character limit? Is this before or after the initial setup? What browser are you using?
Best,
Jeremy
how to skip to next line..
Hello,
I'm using Firefox...just tried it in IE, I put in an email also to Yahoo...I have the ads making sense by putting a - between the phrases until I have this worked out...maybe I should pause the ad group in the meantime...It is doing it 2 both ads in the ad group..and it is my initial set up with Yahoo if that is what you're asking.
It's like a wisiwig editor that is not cooperating...for instance in the line below:
I'm typing along and right here |
I would like to go to skip to the next line by hitting enter or "shift" and enter or "cntrl" or what ever but it keeps typing along right at the | point like I have to work with that somehow to make the ad make sense??? and if I hit the space bar to make skip along to the next line, it says I'm running out of characters..
Thanks,
Gary
Response from Yahoo
Hello Jeremy,
A live person emailed me from Yahoo not long after I sent them an email...here is the response:
<<<>>
So I guess it's kind of like a web page appears differently according to many factors.
Also the gentleman pointed out I wasn't using keyword insertion and suggested ways to do my ads after he viewed them. Which is nice. Maybe you talked about the keyword insertion tool/ability in your Yahoo video? I'll check it again.
Thanks,
Gary
Response from Yahoo
Hello Jeremy,
A live person emailed me from Yahoo not long after I sent them an email...here is the response:
--I have reviewed your campaign and can see that you have correctly composed the ads;
however, spacing issues are automatically handled by the system in order to ensure
that your ad fits within the character limit and will display appropriately in search
results. There are a number of factors that can affect where line breaks are in
your ads including the number of sponsored search results returned, the size of
the user's browser window, which one of our partner sites may be displaying
the ad, etc. At this time, creative spacing in the ads is not something we are able
to provide control over.--
