Google Analytics not so good

I hear a lot of people talk about how great Google Analytics is, but that hasn't been my experience. I started using Extreme Tracker about 2 weeks ago and it gives me so much more information. I find at leaset 30 websites a day through Extreme Tracker that I want to block from the Yahoo Search Network and when I look at traffic sources in Google Analytics, there are only about 2 sites listed and they're not the same ones that are listed on Extreme tracker. Has anyone else had this problem?
I'm glad I stopped using Google Analytics, because I would be losing a lot of money on bad clicks.

I have a question about these..
You know, I don;t trust google with my information, but I live with them having it. I thought I had read some info on Aaron Wall's Seobook.com site about analytics programs but can't find it right now. It seems that the discussion was about free analytics programs and why 1 should not use them. The problem with google analytics and Extreme is that unless you pay $4.50 per month for extreme you are opening up your data to them in my opinion
I know Aaron recommends Mint, and at $30 per site its reasonably priced AND installed on your own server making it "non-public". I'm not sure what anyone else recommends though and I'm interested to hear.

Mint is a good alternative
Mint is a good alternative to Google Analytics (GA). I use GA on quite a few sites, but I have the same reluctance that Brian has about sharing all my data with them. As far as accuracy goes, I think they're pretty good compared to the other solutions I've tried. I've never looked at Extreme Tracker before... Maybe I'll give it a look one of these days.
Best,
