How Important Is CPC When Selecting a Niche?

Hello,

The niche I selected is in the money-saving area, but I'm having trouble deciding which category to focus on due to the CPC.

Using Google's keyword tool I found many niches with good demand and low competition but most of the keywords (health insurance savings, mortgage savings, travel savings, etc.) have a very high Estimated Cost Per Click price.

Creating a campaign around these keywords would be very expensive.

- Is there a way to get around this?
- How important is the high CPC when selecting a niche? or
- Should I just focus on 2 or 3 money saving products or services instead?
