Best practice in installing OMS : single domain OR many domain

I already download OMS as part of bonus of BIP 2.0 Thanks a lot Jeremy !!

I can install OMS successfully in my bluehost shared hosting and already play around OMS for a while to understand the whole concept of OMS. I'm quite familiar with tracking and cloacking, so it's is easier to understand OMS.

However, I have basic question about what is the best practice installing OMS. Should I install and use OMS on one domain that dedicated for tracking purposes for all my affiliate site OR should I install OMS in each of affiliate site ?

Basically, I like the idea to use one dedicated domain for all of my PPC tracking purposes. It will make easier for me to import, export, view and manage all the campaign in one place. If I will install OMS in each of affiliate site, it's quite difficult to login to each of affiliate site and manage the tracking, import and export process.

However, there is a good perspective/reason to install OMS in sub directory of each affiliate site, that makes me not so decisive about installing OMS in single domain. That is to make Cloaked links appear more trustworthy.

For example for affilaite site www.WebHostingDeal.com for example. If I install OMS on single domain, all the link in affiliate site will look like : www.mytracking.com/oms_track/click.php?link=1 which is not so trustworthy compare if the link is in affiliate site domain like : www.WebHostingDeal.com/oms_track/click.php?link=1

The second cloaked links appear more credible to prospective customers. With cloaked links, the visitor can’t see that they’re being redirected through an affiliate link.

So each approach has pro and con, what is your opinion about the best practice in installing OMS ?

Second solution that I can think of is, to install and use simple cloaking script so it will use affiliate domain name (ie www.WebHostingDeal.com/go/bluehost) which call to www.mytracking.com/oms_track/click.php?link=1

Do you think it is worth the hassle use double cloaked link to achieve the trustworthy of prospective customer and increase the click conversion ?
