How Can I Tell If A Competitor Is Also An Affiliate?

I've been doing the TBIP2 niche research from Jeremy's video and I have a problem finding affiliate competition.

My question is if a merchant has a shopping cart how can you find out where they send their orders to? I've tried to complete sales and none of them take me to the merchant site.

Any help would be appreciated,
