Keywords - Ad Showing NO!

I recently designed a campaign using Speed PPC for my local service business. I used a few really good seed keywords and an expansion list with all local cities in my area. I thought is was really good and very relevant, but after uploading it I found that none of my keywords were showing. This was very frustrating for me.

After speaking to Google I found that phrase keywords just didn't show to them to have enough search traffic to warrant showing my ads. After changing to Broad Match only, all of my keywords were working and ads were showing. I hope this helps anyone running into this issue.

I hear you loud and clear brother. From reading Jeremy's Book and doing other research the keyword is critical. I have witnessed it first hand with certain keywords generating a lot of traffic but no conversions. Some keywords get fewer clicks but a lot higher conversions. Of course Google Makes less money in the short term. But you and I both would turn our profits into more PPC Campaigns. Hopefully one of the gurus here will clear it all up for us. There has to be a solution. The broad match is so competitive most of the time it is hard to make profit. Though I have seen some expensive pay per click keywords make the most amount of profit. It's all in the niche and compensation plan you are recieving. I personally would like to be the only one or two ads displaying for a keyword that is searched for only 500 times per month. Multiply that by 200 keywords and your into some good micro niches.
