SEO the only way beside PPC?

webclay's picture

Hey guys

I am stuck and think way to much around simple things I guess. This is getting confusing me so I don't read that much in the past time.

If you don't do PPC to promote your pages, what beside SEO/Social Networking are you doing? I mean I do know a lot of Affiliate Marketers but they are paths away from being a SEO specialist.

Anyt thoughts on this?

Hi Webclay While I'm still

Hi Webclay

While I'm still creating several sites, (none live yet), I know many successful marketers swear by article marketing.

I have seen this work first hand, meaning 300 word articles written by people I know, appear on the first page of Google for various search terms.

Since Ezinearticles is littered with fresh content AND ADSENSE, Google loves it, and constantly pulls articles to the first page.

I have lots of related reading on the subject, PM me if you'd like a pdf or two to read.

never thought about combining

Hey Barry

Thanks for your reply. I really never thought about combining article marketing and affiliate marketing to advertise the sites. I thought that article marketing is some kind of internet technique like affiliate marketing is.
Good advise here Barry, thank you :)

What I have seen done is

Barry_G's picture

What I have seen done is articles, seeded with a few prime kw phrases in the proper places available, like the article title and paragraph headings.

The article is written in a way to peek reader interest or cause a bit of controversy.

Here are some examples for a niche written by Mike Jezek, an excellent professional copywriter.

You give the reader good information, but not all the information, because you are kind enough to provide a link to your landing page / site in the articles author box, inviting them to click and get the "rest of the story"...and maybe a free bonus or guide containing more of your affiliate links :)

Good Luck !

Since I don't can write articles it is pretty hard to get good ghostwriter. I am using textbroker for a while and the articles are looking good (at least in my opinion). Its hard to decide because of the foreign language. Maybe I should look more into the europe market?

Hi Webclay,

I can see that if you look more in the European market and then find success and income that you could feel less frustration and more confident. And have more money to find a ghostwriter or other writer. At some point you will come across English, again. Or another language.

Do you know anyone, now, who has stronger skills in English? Family or friend, maybe? Anyone else interested in Affiliate Marketing closer to where you live? Or are there any communities/forums where a lot of other people in Europe spend time? Or the same in the U.S that attracts many other people who live in Europe ?

I only know of one that could possibly end up helping you. And, I am not saying to get overly involved in the Internet Marketer's part of Affiliate Marketing. But, JP Shoeffel is in Switzerland. Not an affiliate link, here, he has a cost-free community and forum at Ethiccash.com. You do have to exchange your email address to join. In the small amount of time I have spent in that forum/community, I have seen a lot of signatures from many countries in Europe. You might find out how other people have solved the English as a second language challenge and been able to move forward.

If you don't mind working with other people maybe you can network and find someone with a different skill they need help with. What ever you are good at in exchange for their being more skilled with English. I mean bartering. Trading or exchanging 1 thing of value for another thing of value, not money. A skill for a skill, here. We aren't good at that anymore in the U.S. It is a way to outsource or do a joint venture that could really have some value.
I can't say it will work, no way to guarantee. But maybe it will help you think of a way to move past some temporary frustrations.

thank you :-)

Thank you Ayn for your reply. I am quite happy with textbroker so far and willing to pay for unique articles of course :) What I fear in the other side is the europen market as most of the affiliate networks doesn't offer special kind of products only programs. The US market on the other side is so big that you can find for almost everything a possible affiliate program.

If I ever find somebody who can use my graphic skills I would be more than happy to give my stuff in exchange :) Until then I have to pay I guess ;)

I will register at Ethiccash.com and have a look there but seems like another give me your email and I wlil spam you site :( Maybe it isn't, who knows...
