keyword tracking

hello
i dont understand how do i track the money making keywords with php..
i read everything in the book
i understand basic stuff but it seems to hard for me
is there a way to understand it?
may be it is explained in more details..somewhere/
here is what i understand..
if the landing page's url is:
http://xxxxxxx.com/eharmony/landing_page.php?keyword=dating
and my affiliate program give me an url something like:
http://www.xxxxxxxx.com/click-1409998-3083829?SID=keyword
all i do is replace the sid= or track=
with this SID=<?php echo $_GET['keyword'] ;?>
so click url will be http://www.txxxxxxxx.com/click-1409998-3083829?SID=<?php echo $_GET['keyword'] ;?>
they every new click =new search
i get a different sid=keyword..
The easiest way I have found to track your keywords is using Tracking202.com or Prosper202.com. It is extremely easy to use and they have some great videos showing how to use it. I know Jeremy has a similar product called Optimize My Site but Tracking202.com is hosted and there is virtually nothing you have to do to get started. The best part about Tracking 202.com is it's free and it works with most of the affiliate networks and it generates the tracking code that you need to place in your landing pages. For a newbie getting started I highly recommend it.
