Does this landing page follow Jeremy and Scott Miller's advice?

Well, I just got my new landing page designed. It is still well simple. Hope you guys can review it and leave some comments. www.besthotproduct.net
Also, I have targeted keywords to this landing page, and good CTR to the merchant's site. But it just doesn't convert. I only figured out now that Gamefly (a video game rental merchant) only pays for ppl sign up for the free trail, but if users pick a game staright way with paid membership, we don't get paid which is nuts... I saw somewhere in the forum that says jeremy promoted Gamefly before, not sure if he had any success with it.
But for me, I guess I just wasted my time designing the landing page featuring Gamefly and need to stop promoting it. Not 100% waste when I think about it, if the landing page is following the right direct (of what Jeremy and many other affiliates), then i guess I will stick with the template, just changing the offers? What do you guys think?
P.S After the gamefly mistake, I'm thinking maybe i should just do direct linking before spend too much time on getting a landing page out. Is that a good idea?
Don't they pay 10% on purchases as their TOC says.
I think it looks very nice, and I would stick around and read what it has to say because it looks professional.

Yes. I think it looks great. I'd say it's very close to what Jeremy recommended. I'm not sure about Gamefly. That policy seems a bit odd. I'd check into that further.

Hey this page looks really good and delivers the right information. The problem is with Gamefly as you said. I have tried direct linking and their conversion sucked for me. I came to know later about the free trial only converting and stopped after that. Try an niche like dvd rentals or something similar
Nice looking landing page.
Even if this offer doesn't convert I don't think the effort was a waste. You could use this same format to promote other offers and likely be successful.
Hi Victor - the site looks nice, but I did notice a huge leak on the page... You link to TopTenReviews.com (another affiliate site). You could be losing traffic and conversions to them.
I would also recommend registering a specific gaming domain.
