Hi
I get up to $2 effective CPM on my adsense ads and I wonder if that is great or not?
I know its good but i wonder how much the top guys get from adsense CPM (average)? (without any click-bots and other scams ).
I mean ,is $2 a good level to aim for or is this low figures and if I spend more on optimizing I could get much more?
I just like to know what kind of target CPM I should aim for.

How do you get to run CPM on your site? I dont see the option in AdSense.

No you get me wrong, I don't get CPM ads on Adsense.
But I mean what the resulting coresponding effective CPM level is. (I mean (Adsense Revenue/number of impressions).
So, basically, I want to compare my CPM level with other sites to see if its low/normal or high.

Effective CPM is a very good metric to use to measure your websites monetization. My AdSense CPM is extremely low on this site (QYDJ Forums) because everybody in the forum recognizes the ads. However, on some of my other sites the effective CPM for AdSense is much higher.
A really bad eCPM would be $0.84 - the QYDJ Forum eCPM ;)

Ohhhh, duh. Sorry, my bad. I have sites ranging from $0.06 to $76. Unfortunately, the sites that are at $76 dont get that much traffic. :cry:

Actually, you do get CPM ads in Adsense if you accept image ads.
Here's how you can get a report on the CPM $ for just the CPM banners!

After visiting the link I would like to add a point of clarification. You only get CPM if someone chooses to advertise on your site through Site Marketing on Google. You don't automatically get it by displaying banner ads on your site.
