Avoiding Duplicate Content with WordPress/Blogs

Here is a great thread I uncovered this weekend about avoiding duplicate content with your Wordpress blog. I need to take some time and apply some of this sage advice to my own blog....

I was worried about this when I first started using blogs. I thought that those tag clouds were kind of cool...but then I realized the severe increase in duplicate content.

The nofollow tag has worked and I don't get much supplemental results for my original content. I even have duplicate content in other languages via a translator - which I didn't use the nofollow tag on. Some language results are shown in the regular results, while the same content in another language is in supp. Not sure what's the logic behind this...if any.
