Telling people to click Google Ads on your website is a big no no, but does Google want you to promote their products like, FireFox w/Google toolbar, AdSense, and AdWords? Seems to me like they would, but last I checked I could not find anything about it on their site. Anyone?

It sounds like your question really is: "will I get better rankings with Google if I promote their products?" If that be the case the answer is no. In fact you could make a case that you'd be hurting yourself with irrelevant outbound links.
But if you are going to promote them, why not make some money at the same time. Both Google Adwords and Adsense have pretty lucrative affiliate programs.
But your site is automotive, Google affiliate links would not be relevant and would be a distraction from your other monetization efforts and clutter up your site.
Focus on visitor experience, give them very high value relevant automotive content.

I agree with garyfugere. Linking to Google products doesn't make sense for most sites.

Not my question at all. You know how you get paid by having people download FireFox with the Google Toolbar? Those are the products that I was wondering about. Definitely would not think that they would help my relationship with Google, but was wondering if they care that you convince people to download them because you are not supposed to convince people to click on AdSense. Does that make more sense? May be a stupid question, but I could not find any clear answer on Google's Rules and Google Products and AdSense are in the same place in your account.

Ah - that makes more sense.
From what I understand they do encourage you to encourage users to download their software package. I think the T&C's may be a little different than AdSense in this circumstance.
