It's a great feeling, isn't it? Perhaps you remember yours? I got mine today from TradeDoubler. It's for about three weeks worth of work.
Earnings: $523.38
Ad spend: $292.61
ROI: 179%
Most of that ad spend was blown on about ten keywords which I later realized were likely browse keywords and weren't converting. I won't be making that mistake again.

Congratulations! You're on a way better track than me when I started out. My first affiliate payment was $49, and my ad spend like $200 :? (incidentally, like $180 for keywords that didn't have anything to do with the products that made the sales..)

I got my first one yesterday, $80 from CJ, with about $13 in advertising costs. I have had few sales through ClickBank, but they require 5 credit card transactions before sending you the first check.
The day I actually earned the first commission was really exciting, too. :-)
