Old domain or New domain?

I have just started a new site. I have a domain which is about 18 months old. The site has never been optimised and is no longer needed. It has no PR. Its name is very general and has no relevance to the products I am targetting (nor to any other products)
I have also just registered a domain which has a name which is very relevant to the products targeted but obviously is brand new.
Which would be the best domain to use? Will the age of the first domain give it some advantage despite having no PR? Or will the name relevancy of the new domain give it more advantage.

Old domain or New domain?
I recommend going with the relevant domain name. If you have never done SEO for the old domain (relevant inbound link building) then it does not have any real value anyway. From my experience, having a highly relevant domain name (including your main keyword or several) makes a big difference in CTR and thus (on Google) reduces PPC costs. Also, unless your main keywords are very competitive, you have better chances to rank pretty high organically if your domain name includes the full keyword phrase.
